We NEED your help!!

We​ are asking for your help for an effort that is extremely important to us.  

Once again, our Experiential Learning Team is registered for the Foundation 5K Walk/Run for scholarships.  

We hope you will start to save your spare dollars to donate or kick up your exercising to walk with us.  The 5K is Saturday, October 5th. 

For many students, Bill Sigismond was the first step at MCC in changing their future by encouraging work-based learning:  coops, internships, the Disney program, taking courses internationally or going on a geological dig.  These experiences took them outside of the actual classroom.  Experiential Learning experiences encourage students to take the learning that goes on in the classroom, and to apply it to real world opportunities.  These moments are transformative.  Often students aren't able to take advantage of it because they don't have the means for it. 

This is the year we are hoping we can make the final push for giving to help us reach the last $6,000 needed to fully endow this scholarship. An endowed scholarship is designed to award ongoing scholarships annually by using the interest earned on this initial donation.
